Children’s Playground – Wakefield, Yorkshire
Polished Artificial Grass were delighted to install new artificial grass at a popular Children’s Playground in Outwood Park, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
A combination of 20mm and 38mm artificial grass types were used during the installation to mix up the appearance but also to help improve the safety for children using the playground.
Underneath the artificial grass we installed a 20mm thick shock pad underlay to help improve safety. This additional cushioning gives the children a soft landing should they fall while playing! The impact of landing on our newly installed artificial grass is much softer than on the previous natural surface and the initial feedback from the kids is that they love it!
The parents are also pretty happy too, as they no longer have to worry about the children coming home muddy after playing at the park!
